Get Outside WNC hiking series benefiting MountainTrue

Get Outside WNC hiking series benefiting MountainTrue

Get Outside WNC is an organization dedicated to the exposure of, education of, and conservation of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  Through memorable group hikes that get us in nature, Get Outside WNC raises money for local outdoor programs. This Winter the beneficiary of hikes is MountainTrue.

Hikes are some of MountainTrue’s most popular outings and we often sell out fast, leaving some folks missing out on the fun. We hope that you will consider signing up for one of the upcoming hikes in this series, knowing that you will be supporting MountainTrue and another great organization, Get Outside WNC.

Upcoming hikes:

January 7th – Bearwallow Mountain
January 21st – Moore Cove
February 4th – Triple & High Falls
February 18th – Caesar’s Head
March 3rd – Twin Falls

Sign up or read more about the upcoming hikes

***Please Note: these hikes are NOT led by MountainTrue staff but are led by Get Outside WNC. For questions regarding the hikes or signing up, please contact Jenna Watson: jwatson7735@yahoo.com

More about Get Outside, WNC:
Get Outside WNC not only promotes conservation and protection of the Blue Ridge Mountains, but also emphasizes the positive effects of nature on our mental health.  Hiking serves as a healthy way to destress, get exercise, and recover from the demands of work, school, and our day-to-day routines.  Get Outside WNC hopes to get youth back outside and promote positive health habits.
