The pandemic has caused local and state revenue used to fund public transit to drop sharply, and transit systems all over the country are at risk of laying off workers and cutting back service. Public Lands Are More Popular Than Ever, And They Need Your Help
2020 has brought record visitation to public lands in our region, with many of the people visiting these lands doing so for the first time. While the new wave of interest is exciting, the crowds and all the newcomers have also brought growing pains in the form of overflowing parking lots, trash bins and piles of litter.
