In the wake of Hurricane Helene, MountainTrue is dedicated to addressing the urgent needs of our community.
MountainTrue is excited to host our 4th Annual screening of the No Man’s Land Film Festival to celebrate the many opportunities we have to play outside in the Southern Blue Ridge and the need to protect the places we play for the future. This year’s film program will highlight intrepid climate activists, conservationists, problem solvers, committed grassroots organizers, and environmental justice champions – all women, and all inspiring! We will also showcase a few of MountainTrue’s own intrepid adventurers and climate activists who will share how their love for mountains and rivers compelled them to join the movement for climate justice.
Since we aren’t able to host the festival in person, we will be screening it virtually. After registering, you’ll receive a link and log in information to use to watch the films. You will have a 24-hour time frame in which to watch the ~90 minutes of films, starting at 6:30pm on June 11th.
