Celebrate the arrival of Spring with this moderate 6.8 mile out-and-back hike into the Green River Gorge and join us in seeking out the season’s first ephemeral wildflowers such as trillium, bloodroot, and toothwort. Led by expert ecologist and MountainTrue Public Lands Director Bob Gale, we will explore the Green River Game Lands and its many forest communities and habitats.
Hartwell Carson, the French Broad Riverkeeper, will discuss the French Broad River Paddle Trail and the annual MountainTrue French Broad River Paddle Trip.
