Join Asheville GreenWorks, MountainTrue, 98.1 The River and HiWire Brewing at French Broad Outfitters for the next great installment of the Riverkeeper Beer Series! Come ready to float, cleanup our river, and taste the release of the Hi Wire Riverkeeper Beer at the after party. The party will be at French Broad Outfitters afterwards to celebrate a successful day cleaning up the river.

We will contact you with more details, but the section of river is flatwater and suitable for all paddlers.

Join us for our fourth annual Sarah Sweep river clean up. After the clean-up we will head back to the Cotton Mill for an evening of fabulous local music, the best grilled veggies and meats, and friendship fun for all. There is a suggested $10 donation for the food and music to help raise funds for the Broad Riverkeeper program and the Double Shoals Mill.

On Thursday, September 12th, Hendersonville Green Drinks presents a panel discussion featuring representatives from Conserving Carolina and MountainTrue. The environmental work that goes on in WNC is vitally important to sustaining the health, beauty, and well-being of our region and communities. On this panel, representatives from these two local environmental non-profits, both leaders in their field, will discuss what they do to protect the environment, clarify how their work supports and complements the other, and highlight ways you can get involved. Rhythm & Brews: Rad Trads and Honey Island Swamp Band

The Rhythm & Brews concerts series brings together live music, great food, and local beer, wine and cider! These FREE concerts close part of South Main Street to make room for all of this fun, as well as a children's area with games and activities. We will wrap up the series on September 19th with Opener: Rad Trads at 5:30pm and Headliner: Honey Island Swamp Band at 7:30pm. The concert will be on Main Street between Allen & Caswell Streets in Hendersonville. We hope to see you there!
