Eve Davis, AmeriCorps Western Region Water Quality and Habitat Restoration Associate

Eve graduated from Appalachian State University in 2022 with a degree in Sustainable Development (concentration on Environmental Studies) and a minor in Biology (focusing on Botany). Throughout the course of their time in Boone, NC, Eve has cultivated a passion for protecting native plants and pollinators and seeking ways to further a connection with nature. In their professional life, they have primarily worked in community gardens with ASU’s Office of Sustainability and organic farms across the Blue Ridge Mountains, learning about sustainable food systems. In moments between college and work, Eve has volunteered with MountainTrue’s High Country Office for three years and is thrilled to serve as the AmeriCorps 2023-24 member with MountainTrue’s Western Region Office. They look forward to learning more about conserving green spaces and waterways in the WNC region they call home.​
