The Southern Regional Office partners with and protects communities in Western North Carolina’s Cleveland, Henderson, Polk, Rutherford, and Transylvania counties through the following programs and initiatives:

- MountainTrue Recycling Team
- Promoting greenway and pedestrian infrastructure

AmeriCorps Water Quality Administrator (Hendersonville)
MountainTrue is seeking a full-time AmeriCorps Water Quality Administrator. This position encompasses many facets: working with volunteers on many levels (recruiting, training, mentoring, organizing); learning and understanding meaningful ways to connect applied science to community needs at the local level; and more.
