We will primarily be using hand tools to cut invasive shrubs like Chinese privet and then treat the stumps. No prior experience is necessary; we will provide tools and training. All you have to bring is water and energy! We will primarily be pulling up roots and using hand tools to remove invasive shrubs like Chinese privet and then treat the stumps. No prior experience is necessary; we will provide tools and training. All you have to bring is water and energy! Nature Walk at Nodding Trilliums Private Nature Preserve in Cullowhee

Join us on this easy nature walk through the Pittillo Family Nature Preserve for in-depth information about the botany and geology of the area. We will be led by Dan Pittillo, owner of the property and retired Western Carolina University biology professor. We will be walking about a mile with 260 ft elevation gain through narrow foot trails in woodlands.
