Our High Country Clean Water staff will lead a talk at 10 am about "Riverkeeping 101," covering everything from pollution investigation, sampling programs, debris removal, dam removal, and more! Programs will be ongoing from 9 am-6 pm throughout the day so come join us!

Bored on a Friday night and interested in amphibians, reptiles, and river ecology? This is the event for you! Our MountainTrue team is partnering with friends from Beech Mountain Parks and Recreation and Lees McRae to host a guided herpetology/river ecology evening hike!

Free to the public! Take a walk with MountainTrue's Watauga Riverkeeper staff and learn about stream ecology on the mountain. This will be an opportunity to ask questions and learn about the wildlife around us through the lens of science and advocacy.
