This is an opportunity to talk with US Forest Service specialists about aspects of the national forests you care about and to learn what is proposed for the management of these lands for the next 10-15 years. Saving Ash Trees from the Emerald Ash Borer

Josh Kelly, Public Lands Biologist for MountainTrue will give an informational presentation on the emerald ash borer beetle. The presentation will include information on the ecology and abundance of ash in the region, what landowners can do to save treasured trees, and the efforts of MountainTrue and the Pisgah Conservancy to "Save Pisgah's Ashes".
