Importance of Pollinator Communities Talk & Art Show: A Collaboration Between Central United Methodist Church, Creation Care Alliance and Local Artists
Central United Methodist Church is collaborating with Scott Hardin-Nieri of Creation Care Alliance and local artists Moni Hill and Claire Sordoni, to bring our community a discussion and art show on the Importance of Pollinator Communities. The event will be held at Central United Methodist Church on Sunday, August 21st from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. This event is free and open to the public; light refreshments will be served.
Local artists Moni Hill and Claire Sordoni are both dedicated to creating awareness on the pollinator communities throughout Asheville and seek to use their position to voice concerns on the loss of pollinator habitats. With creation of many paintings inspired by the desire and need to preserve the local pollinator community, Moni has some personal projects whose mission is to create habitats for local pollinators to thrive in. Both artists will be bringing their artwork inspiring others on their creative process connecting to the natural world through painting.
This event is free to the public and will be a great way to participate in a community dialog and showcase environmentally conscious local artists.
